D.A.R.E. Hawaii, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization operating under 99-0285294, which has been established to support the Drug Abuse Resistance Education program statewide, is having its 1st Annual Fundraiser Golf Tournament and you’re invited to participate.
The event, themed “Swinging for D.A.R.E.” will be held on Friday, April 8, 2011, at Pearl Country Club. Registration begins at 10:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. There will be contests, prizes, and great food and fun throughout the course. All funds raised will help to support and continue the annual D.A.R.E. Day graduation event on the respective islands and the activities of the D.A.R.E. Program. Statewide, the D.A.R.E. Program reaches over 30,000 fifth graders each year.
This year marks the 25th anniversary of the D.A.R.E. Program in Honolulu. We hope that you will join us and other prominent businesses in Hawaii in promoting a healthy lifestyle for our children and their future.
We would like to ask for your consideration of a donation for “Swinging for D.A.R.E.”, by way of cash or check (checks payable to D.A.R.E. Hawaii); prizes, gift cards or certificates (in sets of three); tee favors (200 players); or your participation in one of the following sponsorship opportunities:
- Platinum Sponsor = $10,000 (Title sponsorship + two teams)
- Silver Sponsor = $5,000 (Two teams, recognition on promotional materials)
- Bronze Sponsor = $2,500 (Logo on banner at a select hole + one team)
- Hole Sponsor = $300 (recognition on the tee)
